Just discovered this one – GE Money 28 Degrees Mastercard

It looks like a little gem for bargain hunters doing a little online overseas shopping or for those who can afford an overseas adventure because it has no international fees – you know that nasty 2% currency exchange you pay on every transaction.

Here’s the link to their website to read a little more about it. If you want to know more about the company, it’s General Electric – only the second largest company in the world. In Australia they have assets in excess of $35 billion. This means, don’t make more money for them by owing interest on this card! You can buy shares for their company on the the New York Stock Exchange ;)   Here’s the link for what Wiki has to say about them.

People, please, give me feedback. Is this card as delightful as it appears to be?

It seems to have all the usual interest rate pitfalls. But I think I like – if I can meet my repayments. And really no card is worth liking unless you can meet your repayments within the interest free term.

LOVE this credit card! My Mum just returned from o’seas and found over $500 worth of exchange fees on her credit card!!!!!!!!
She’s a nutcase!!! I told her to get one of these.
But you’re right about the interest on it – gotta pay it off each month.
